It is with much sadness, I inform you of the passing of Mia (Ruffina Blake) earlier today. Mia first came to us a little over 6 years ago. We adopted Mia to help with our other greyhound Rudy who was having some trouble adjusting to being the only dog in the house. We were a little worried, but bringing Mia into the house was just what the doctor ordered for Rudy and the rest of our family.
She was a very loving girl, but always let you know when somebody was approaching the house. I would joke that she was the only "Guard Greyhound" in the world.
Although Mia's passing was a shock today, at least it was quick (stroke) and hopefully painless. You will be missed.
